Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has also offered another gift to its broadband subscribers. The thing to keep in mind about this offer is that the new promotional system is designed for ADSL broadband customers and not FTTH subscribers. Under this new ad, BSNL has publicly announced that it will only charge Rs 29 per month as a monthly ADSL modem fee. Remember, BSNL usually charges more than Rs 100 in some ADSL monthly modem rentals. Here are some of the details of this recently launched offer.

Details of the ADSL Broadband Modem for Monthly Rentals

BSNL has informed its customers that under this new provision, ADSL subscribers will be required to pay Rs 29 per month on behalf of the monthly recruitment modem. In the previous price regime, prior to issuance, subscribers were required to pay Rs 70 for non-WiFi modem variants such as monthly rental payments for an annual fee of Rs 860 charged. To make matters worse, WiFi modem users of ADSL subscriptions had to pay Rs 110 per month on behalf of the monthly rental modem. The burden of these huge monthly costs has been reduced for ADSL Internet users

BSNL FTTH Still Better Option

BSNL officials at various circles have also been instructed to comply with the latest rules issued by the TRAI. Not only that, local authorities have been asked to ensure that the collection of older modems is done properly. For subscribers to the ADSL broadband connection, we would recommend moving to a better FTTH connection as BSNL option offers its FTTH customers plenty and there are tons of offers, free data, and many free checks that make BSNL FTTH programs worth their marker.

To give you insight into one of BSNL Broadband’s leading offerings, the public telecom offers a free month of subscription if they pay for 12 months. This means that the 13th month of BSNL FTTH registration will be completely free for users.

Text messaging services are becoming increasingly useful in these times, when users prefer to connect with their loved ones through these platforms rather than offline, due to the epidemic. As a result, Telegram, Signal and WhatsApp, the top three messaging platforms have gained the most users since the start of the COVID-19 epidemic and Telegram launched group video call service.

To meet the demand, they have all been adding new features, whether privacy, construction or performance. This includes video conferencing, a feature approved for all such platforms, because only audio calls end in favor of modern and useful video-based calling.

Today, Telegram announced that with the latest version of the app on iOS, Android and desktop, users of encrypted messaging app will be able to convert their group voice conversations into video calls.

With this, users will have the option to pin the user’s video feed on the screen to be up and down even if new participants join the call. Users will also be able to share their screen if they need to show something or share texts. Users will also be given the opportunity to share their camera food and screen simultaneously, according to each Engadget.

What the Group Video Call Option Involves
With the new release, group video calls will be limited to the first 30 people who will join voice chat, but Telegram says it will expand this number soon, with the aim of expanding voice chats to support live events and other such new features. This functionality will be available on Smartphones, tablets and computers.

This comes after the CEO of messaging service Pavel Durov announced, by sending a message to his official Telegram channel that Telegram would increase video size in its voice chats in May, making Telegram a powerful platform for group video calls.

In April 2020, a blog post that began entertaining 400 million telegram users, it was announced that the global shutdown highlighted the need for a more reliable video communication tool such as text messaging in 2013. There was also talk of secure video calls, which could explain the delay in the release of the feature.

In case you missed it, the company had reached 400 million active users by April 2020, a positive increase from the first 200 million noted in 2018.

The 1st chip that Samsung announced at the event was ‘3rd generation mmWave RFIC’. This 3rd generation chipset can support frequencies in both 28 GHz and 39 GHz spectrum bands and will be embedded in Samsung’s next-generation 5G Compact Macro. In this the chipset comes with, the antenna size could be reduced by 50%, resulting in more space inside the 5G radio. also, the new RFIC chipset increases power efficiency making the 5G radio lightweight. alongwith the power output of the chipset has increased.

The 2nd chipset that Samsung announced was the ‘2nd generation 5G Modem SoC’. This new chipset from Samsung will enable the forthcoming baseband unit to get two times the capacity and also reduce the power consumption by each cell by 50%. It will support frequencies both in the mmWave and sub-6 GHz spectrum bands. Also, the chipset also offers better power efficiency and beam-forming for Samsung’s next-generation 5G compact Macro and Massive MIMO radio.

The 3rd chipset announced by Samsung was the ‘DFE-RFIC Integrated chip’. This new chip combines both DFE and RFIC functions for mmWave and sub-6 GHz. With these integrated functions, the frequency bandwidth is doubled. At the same time, the chipset will allow the next generation solutions to come in reduced sizes and also be more powerful.

5G https://inlitetech.com/5g/ https://inlitetech.com/5g/#comments Sat, 19 Jun 2021 18:37:22 +0000 https://inlitetech.com/?p=184 5G is the 5th generation of wireless technology series that started with 1G in 1979 1G enabled wireless phone calls 2G enabled messaging 3G made internet use in phones possible 4G brought with it HD video calling, fast internet and many more features

All these wireless technologies use electromagnetic waves to transfer information/data and the Electromagnetic wave’s frequency plays an important role in it. Frequency, in simple words is the energy/data transfer capacity of a wave which means, more the frequency, more the data transfer capacity.

Where 4G generally uses the frequency range from 2Ghz to 8Ghz, 5G can use frequencies beyond 50Ghz. Due to which, in comparison to 4G, 5G can provide many additional benefits such as 100 times fast the current internet speeds through which we would be able to download 2 hr long HD movie in a couple of seconds. driverless cars and Internet of Things (IOT). Through which we would be able to control from light in our homes to appliances via a smartphone.

5G Types

5G could be classified into three types:

  1. Low Band,
  2. Mid Band and
  3. High Band.

Low Band 5G provides High range, which can cover long distances due to their use of low Frequency waves which has a data carrying capacity similar or slightly more than 4G. Meanwhile Mid Band 5g in comparison to Low Band provides more data carrying capacity but less range. Then comes High Band 5g, High 5G speeds of nearly 10 Gbps are possible in this Band only.

To transfer data, High Band 5G uses millimetre waves (mmWaves). These waves are capable of transferring data at blazing fast speeds, but they have a range of 500 metres only! To solve these issues, 5G uses MIMO or Multiple Input Multiple Output Technology , which uses multiple antennas in the broadcasting tower to send and receive multiple input and output signals simultaneously.

Second technology is Beam Forming, in which instead of going in all directions the signal is transmitted directly to the smartphone which increases signal strength and reduces disturbance during signal transmission. Besides this, by using Duplex Technology, 5G could transmit incoming and outgoing signals on the same frequency which will make 5G more efficient.

mmwaves

mmWaves have a very small range because they can be absorbed by nearby trees and buildings. To increase the range, many mini cell towers would have to be installed within a small area, that helps maintain the connection. Due to these requirements, it could take high speed 5G few years to be properly available for the global market.

5G safe?

But one frequently asked question is : “Is 5G safe?” To answer this we would have to understand the concept of Ionizing and Non-ionizing radiation. Ionizing radiation like X-Rays, Gamma Rays can be seen in radioactive materials like Uranium and Plutonium. Electromagnetic waves emitted from these materials have very high energy and frequency, therefore they can cause Cancer in Human body.

But 5G uses non-ionizing radiations like Radio-waves and Microwaves, therefore side effects of ionizing radiation could not be seen in most cases. However, these waves have shown the capacity to generate heat. But more research is still awaited in this field of 5G and a lot of new information is expected in the future.
